Where staying in is the adventure

Pools, pickleball, fire pits, and vibes so good you'll forget you packed a suitcase.

The hideout origin story

It started with a bad Airbnb and a dream. We kept booking "luxury" rentals that turned out to be… let's just say creatively photographed. So we thought: what if vacation homes were actually as fun as the vacation?

Hello Hideout was born from that "aha" moment. We acquire, design, and operate short-term rentals that make you want to cancel your dinner reservations and just stay in. Every property is a vibe — curated down to the last throw pillow.

Our Promise (pinky swear):

Design with soul. Operate with excellence. Welcome with intention.

"My Gps couldn’t take me to the exact address. I had to use the pictures to find the Airbnb. When I arrived Tony mentioned there were problems with the lock. The door was unlocked when I arrived. There was guest at staying at the other part of the house. Well they had access to my room. They asked if I was staying there. Once I said yes. They went to grab chairs that they took from my room. Why did they have access to my Airbnb? Anyways I had trouble with the lock working properly. I was told that the property has great security to male up the lock problem. Yes the property had cameras but that didn’t mean I was ok with not locking the front door! I was already insecure once the guest from the other part of the house had access to my room! Good thing the side door locked from keeping them from re-entering. I had trouble locking the front door every time I left the Airbnb."

"The house is beautiful, in a quiet neighborhood, and had plenty of entertainment for our family, which we really enjoyed. However, check-in was difficult due to the previous guests leaving the home in poor condition, and we weren’t able to get in on time with a car full of groceries and four restless kids. The pool wasn’t clean, though we cleaned it enough to use. We also paid $250 to have it heated, which doesn’t make sense with back-to-back bookings, but glad we did because of the weather. There were a few issues during our stay—curtains were pulled down in several rooms, no cleaning supplies were available, and we couldn’t get the hot tub jets or grill to work. On our last day, a random man entered the backyard to clean the pool without any prior notice, which startled the kids. And we weren’t able to arrange late checkout 24hrs prior. Tony was responsive and tried to help, but some information wasn’t accurate, and an instruction guide for the home would have been very helpful."

"Tony’s place was pretty much exactly what I ordered—clean, basic, easy, and worth the price. I recommend it if you’re looking for a spot to sleep and shower. The bed was crazy comfortable and I wouldn’t have shipped it home if I could have ;) One thing I think worth mentioning: The couch in the photos is not the couch in the place. The couch in there now is almost comically small, barely big enough for a person to sit on, definitely not big enough for a someone to lie on. Not a problem for me because I spent very little time in the space and because there is a TV in the bedroom as well, so you can lie in the world’s best bed and watch TV too. But if you intend to chill in the place, not sure the sofa is much of an option. It’s worth noting that I didn’t bring this up with the host because it didn’t matter to me. There is every chance that the original sofa was unexpectedly broken or something."
